Origins and History: An exiled Russian princess brought an Egyptian cat to Italy. In 1957, she
introduced the breed to America and created the Fatima cattery. Other breeders then
popularized the Egyptian Mau.

Personality: While very tolerant and affectionate, they are rustic, playful and a and dynamic.
They are very good family cats.

Additional notes: They only require a weekly grooming.
