Origins and History: Not much is known about its origins except for the fact that they are
strictly Norwegian. Breeders started developing the breed in 1930.

Personality: A true family cat, it loves children, dogs and other animals. An excellent hunter, it
is a confident cat, sociable and calm, but also playful, robust, slightly rustic, and a great athlete.

Additional notes: This breed becomes mature around 4 or 5 years of age. During the shedding
season, grooming is primordial.
